Risperidone/Olanzapine(Zyprexia) withdrawel experiences?

Postby pat789 » Fri Jan 23, 2015 2:03 pm

I took one dose of Risperidone 10mg and tens of doses of Olanzapine 2.5mg-15mg (averaging 2.5mg per day for 4 weeks).

Since withdrawing 6 weeks ago, the effects of thinkingblock, emotionblock, anhedonia, (etc), have got stronger. The effects of this medication have not worn off thus far and in fact have continually strengthened since withdrawing with no sign of returning to the way things were before using this medication.

Descriptions by others of the exact effects I am referring to:
- "It's been more than 6 weeks now since my injection, and I still feel as if this harrowing compound, is still actively binding to an entire series of receptors."
- "drug-induced synaptic road-block."
- "I have this clog feeling like putting your fingers against the water flow, in the end of the faucet. Feels like their is resistance but more when I use my brain more on difficult task. I think the receptors that the drugs was suppose to block has been altered, or permanently blocked, or damaged, or just clogged."

Anyone experienced this and did the effects wear off?

I'm a month out from my last injection. In a little over a month, I feel a little bit better. Just a little bit though, and before this I thought I was a dead man. I was certain I was dying. In fact, it took me a while to realize it was the invega.

The problem with this drug is it's long half-life. The risperidone will take a long time to go away. It has a half life of 29-45 days. So within a year, most of it will be gone. After 6 weeks, a half-life has passed, so you should have half of your receptors back. Maybe you need to take a dopaminergic drug to get them to start binding dopamine again.

This is proof that people will believe any absurdity for a sense of control. Psychosis is not caused by dopamine and chemically blocking dopamine is not only torture, but potentially deadly and quite often it is deadly. I almost died myself. My heart still acts strange.

I was possessed by a demon for a little bit before they put me on this stuff. It would talk through me and tell me it wouldn't let me talk. I told them that but they didn't believe me. I told them I heard demons for most of my life but this was the first time I was possessed. They said I have a brain disease and chemically tortured me. Welcome to Satan's world. They didn't even order a brain scan. They also act condescending. I wonder what they will tell Jesus. "I blocked his dopamine based on a theory that it would prevent psychosis." Right....good luck explaining that one to Jesus. I even warned them it was a demon and not psychosis.
