If you are genuinely involved in fighting the psychiatric system you need to be aware that you are in danger and that every aspect of your life is known to the uk and american spy agencies, who are of course linked to the military and the psychiatrists that you are fighting. You are interfering in their objective which is to place in poverty and medically torture a large number of adults and children based on their behaviour and appearance.

Your internet connection and phone is monitored, but more useful information is collected by the operating system (again linked to the military) that you are using which is both spyware and malicious. It is malicious because it can be altered dynamically to function in a way that interferes with its normal operation. In addition the television that you sit in front of is two way, it has got a camera in it, and it is noted how you react to things like news stories (some of them untrue) and adverts by the psychiatrists that are "treating" you, with the intention of proving the point, according to their evil and twisted ideas, that you are in fact mentally ill. I see truth getting out much more. That and people like you and me are going and speaking up about it on forums like this. Simple, easy and effective. No longer do down falls in psychiatry become quiet where the victim feels like he or she is the only one. Silence is coming to an end.

Who cares, a psychiatrist saved my life, yes SOME psychiatrists are linked to the military but who cares. War sends you cuckoo, the military needs psychiatrists just like it needs lawyers.

It would be preferable if it were a generalisation because in the psychiatric system you are forced to take antipsychotic medication, which is in effect neurological poison, known to cause injury including excessive weight gain resulting in diabetes, constant head pain, dizziness, drowsiness, abnormally low blood pressure, suicidal ideation, depression, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, renal failure and muscle weakness.

When you complain of the side effects the psychiatrist will talk vaguely about something he doesn't understand, the body adapting and altering to reduce the side effects caused by the neurological poison. However, taking the statistic that antipsychotic medication reduces life expectancy by twenty five years this is rarely the case.

I think this is the biggest problem with psychotropic medication. Patients are never informed of side effects, and even berated for bringing up concerns. The fact concerns are discarded shows the rights of the patient aren't welcome.

Psychiatrists are taught one thing especially in clinical settings: calm the patient while persuading them to continue taking medications. Compliance, not patient rights are the object. The patient is seen as sick, the illness might make them see their treatment as bad, so they must be softly (covertly) forced to comply with treatment. Some psychiatrists are aware of the side effects, but according to them its a lesser evil in that they are lead to believe the medication is working for everyone.

To be blunt it is nothing but a green light to brainwash the patients while withholding information. In no other medical setting is that welcome. Patients are fully informed and have a right to refuse treatment.

Something else that has also bothered me is over prescribing and over dosing. Clinical settings are worst in psychiatrists deliberately over prescribe dosages with the hopes of getting sedating side effects which makes patients easier to manage. Even in outpatient some doctors do it.

The whole point of psychotropic medication, at least the theory behind its use, is to prescribe just enough to make symptoms of illness like depression or psychosis subside to the point they can be ignored or managed with ease by the patients. Having them so drugged up they can barely stand or giving more medications to "treat" side effects from the first ones is not right even by text books based on pharmacological treatment yet done all the time.

There is no real prize for anything in life. What are you supposed to do ?

Every single time I press the submit button on an anti psychiatry post I feel good cause I know chances are I just informed several more people about how dirty and corrupt the industry is.

I sort of had this conversation with someone Saturday when the power ball jackpot was $300,000,000.

Would I buy a jet plane and hire a pilot to take me around, yes. A awesome motor yacht, well hell ya. All the fun toys with motors and nice houses and penthouse apartments on the tallest buildings in the coolest cities... 300 million is alot.

I would be bored of all that in a year. Even cocaine and hot women would get old, all it did for Charlie sheen was make him go psychotic.

If I won the $300,000,000 I would still do this, I would buy full page ads in major newspapers exposing all the dirt on the criminal enterprise known as psychiatry every day till I destroyed them.
