After searching, it seems psych literature barely considers the many ways that talk therapy can be harmful. Yet I see many contradictions therapists rarely talk about: the artificiality of role playing, that therapists often impersonate an "authority figure" who knows what's best, its pseudo-world/pseudo reality, and its emphasis on wounds, "pathology" and defects. (The later seems instruction in how to be a depressive.)
