Currently coming off zoloft to start on abilify after using risperidone on and off.

I want to try:
Fish oil
Probiotics
Vegetables
Exercise
Cbt

Any other ideas?

I'm currently doing a nutrition program to help me manage my moods while I am switching/reducing my medication with the eventual hope that I will come off completely. It's a slow process, but to me it's worth it, and my moods have been more stable throughout the switching/reduction process since I started this program. I've also been trying to add different things either into my life or back into my life that I've let go such as yoga and trying to challenge myself with new things to keep my mind occupied/distracted.

You have a similar diagnosis to me, is your bipolar drug acquired through borderline behaviour?

I'm actually not bipolar, I just have bpd hyper focus and dissociation and also rage.
But it seems my parasuicidal drug use has fried my brain and given me a cluster of symptoms that almost meet criteria for the whole dsm.

I don't have a flight of ideas and I don't become reckless because i feel euphoric. I fit the bill perfectly for bpd.

Do you actually go euphoric and become reckless and then psychotic?

Or do you hyper focus on a task then become euphoric after achievement?

Does your family and romantic relationships trigger you or does it tend to be random?

I think for me, I am a perfect example of actually having these two diagnoses

yes

Nope, my mania is independent of what is going on around me

Family and relationships to trigger me, but that triggers more of the BPD type stuff and not the bipolar stuff. They are very independent of each other in my opinion. It's taken me a long time to be able to sort out what is what, but I think at this point in my life I have done a good job of being able to tell the difference. Being able to do this has been a major help in my recovery process.
