Search for a journalyst

Hello!
I was sent to a closed departmen because I saw a mistake of my ex cheef.
Inspite of the rules, I did never get any explanations WHY, and what I did to be hospitlaised (of course, logically, becuase I didn't)

I tride with a local lawers, tried to bring some withnesses to talk withdoctor, but no success. "They are not due to explain to ANYONE why I ws hsopitalised".

As here is a deep economic crisis, among other (individial) problems, noone is interested for my problem, The consequence is I got the mark from JUST ONE SUBJECTIVE person, that "I am permanently unable for any work", of course without ANY explanation.

As I living now on minimal money to survive, I can't pay for second oppinions.
That is why I am searching for JOURNALYST now. ANY who would take my case.

I don't want anything else but to tell me WHAT DID I DO TO BE HOSPITALISED BY FORCE!!!-and definitely nothing else!

As noone is interested for me, I just need Your help.

It is not a problem to get a copy. I do get it.
But in all copies/results it is written:

"She was behaving psychotic" (dot)
"She was behaving wierd." (dot)

There is no explanation, with normal words, WHAT did I do that they considered as "psyhotic" and WHAT did I do that it seemed "wierd" to me.

I do not want them to change their attitudes.
I do not want them to change their DIAGNOSES (although I do not agree- and my GP also thinks that what they TOLD me as explanation can't be neither "wierd" not "psichotic", but problem is that my GP does not believe me it was really like that AND PSYCHIATER REFUSES TO WRITE IT DONW!!!)

I just want them to write it donw, but with all forces (lawer, patient "ombudsman") I did not achieve anything, so I decided to try with a journalyst, (if a good idea?)

PLEASE IF SOMEONE CAN HELP!!!

My medical records stated:

"Patient states I don't need meds"

A lie of course , I stated Seroquel dosages to high, 25 mg for sleep sure AOK maybe 50 even, 200mg morning 600mg @ night no way. I rejected Trileptal and Haldol .

"Speech is rapid" I guess speaking to fast is a 'psychiatric offense' and there goal was to disable me with the drugs to the point that talking quickly would not be possible and call that condition of a zombie stupor "better".

"Guarded" Yes I was. Strip searches , locked doors and drug coercion threats of injection will have that effect. I wanted help with alcohol withdrawal detox , not this crap. You people are not my friends.

"Placed on assault precautions" I threatened them in response to the needle threat, also not stated on my records. You are going to assault me with a needle ? Really ? Think about when I see you outside this place some day what might happen. The needle assault never came but I feared it.

Not much detail on my record.

So how about this ? You can be your own journalyst.

Start with the review sites for the doctor and hospital, just google hospital or doctor name + review then sign up and post. Many people read those reviews.

Then there is the consumer complaint sites,

These reports show up on google when people search hospital and doctor names and your complaint gets many views and often others will comment with there own complaints, it 'gets the ball rolling'.

If you do this please don't write angrily and hastily because there is no go back and edit button.

I think it's funny as hell fighting back this way because doctors and especially hospitals often have the attitude of "to bad this is how it is and who are you going to tell anyway ? ". How about I tell every future customer that googles your name and the hospitals name and reads my complaints about how you treat people, how about that ?

You can get a court order forcing your health care provider to allow you to fix or add to your health care records. You may also collect actual damages for any past refusal to allow you to fix and add to medical records.

I know how you feel. For years I have wanted the same. Journalism is the ultimate form of free speech where problems can gain recognition. I wish I knew how to give victims of psychiatry a voice, unfortunately I have discovered the hard way that unless you have ties or connections getting a real issue on the news is close to impossible. At least its this way in the US and Canada.


You by all means are news worthy. IMO, a book would be a place to start. My advice to psych members is to wright and journal. The stories aren't lost, they can be published, blogged about and eventually when enough people speak up against psychiatric injustice attention will be drawn toward it.

Incredible!! He should have been a very influential powerful person.
But really is there a phrase like that above?

I dont know where you are, but usually reports are a little more detailed.
And if you hadn't seen your boss killing someone belonging to the international traffic they are not so definitive.

In any case, I recommend you to look for some association. Usually they dont do anything of what thay have to but often are full of information.

And I suggest you write to local journalist, search for their email, and if you want try to the greater newspapers and magazines lastly.
