The 8th amendment: Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Take these pills or you will be punished with an injection, the standard inpatient threat and action.

Cruel and unusual punishments, a violation of my civil rights under U.S. Code, Title 42, Chapter 21 § 1983, Civil action for deprivation of rights.

Not sure if this was an 8th amendment violation but it was civil rights.

This I was told would be my punishment for refusing that handful of unnecessary brain disabling shuffle around like a zombie pills including Haldol after my drinking, nervous breakdown and going to the hospital .

My reaction to this needle threat was charted as 'speech is rapid' and used as confirmation I needed more of the same mistreatment and threats.

I am totally dedicated to 'anti psychiatry' it's a noble cause exposing this barbarism called 'help'.

Psychiatry Violates harassment laws too

Harassment covers a wide range of behaviors of an offensive nature. It is commonly understood as behavior intended to disturb or upset. In the legal sense, it is intentional behavior which is found threatening or disturbing. Psychiatric harassment refers to persistent and unwanted pressure to take drugs most often with threats, typically inpatient, where the consequences of refusing 'treatment' are potentially very painful and traumatizing to the victim.

Here is something on that law,

Section 43A. (a) Whoever willfully and maliciously engages in a knowing pattern of conduct or series of acts over a period of time directed at a specific person, which seriously alarms that person and would cause a reasonable person to suffer substantial emotional distress, shall be guilty of the crime of criminal harassment and shall be punished by imprisonment in a house of correction for not more than 21/2 years or by a fine of not more than $1,000, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

By refusing to take medication in the hospital, doesn't that create unncecessary conflict, of a passive nature between you and the psychiatrist, when you could just swallow the pill and do everything else you had planned to do at the hospital. I mean fighting the psychiatrist over the medication in no instance I have ever heard, has he said, "Oh, you're fighting so I will agree with you and stop giving you medication."

In my case it was not unnecessary conflict , I was prescribed an unnecessary overdose that was dangerous to my health and it's an awful experience being sedated by that can't feel or think crap.

Plus I feel having something I don't want put in my body is a rape.

I had a nervous breakdown from drinking and life stress, walking around like a zombie wile feeling that crap attacking my CNS affecting my heart rate breathing muscle function ect was not going to help me nor was whatever withdrawal reactions I would experience when I went home and quit the stuff . Surely insomnia from hell would be included in that withdrawal, no thanks.

My body, I own it no one else does, end of story.

Unfortunately it does create loads of conflict. The system puts the psychiatrists in place of having all the power. It seems that any patient requests or concerns are not taken seriously, which ironically leads to more conflict. The docs reach a conclusion medication as being necessary, which leads them to try any way to get you to take them. Its one of the worst positions a person can be put in. Its nothing more than rights being taken away from the individual. Often those who refuse medication have a valid reason to do so. An individual never makes a statement without an inference. More often than not that inference hold truth.

Its for this reason patient need to be heard, and respected. Currently the system doesn't always do that and many find themselves in positions you describe which needs to be changed imo.

They just hand the pills out, and I think you have say so in things like, say they claim you have anxiety because of an eye twitch, you can say you have no anxiety and probably take that pill away. I think they give pills for the major disorders which they do. It's unfortunate that people get put in hospitals, but once in, they will not listen to a patient who says they do not take meds, as they will likely say the patient is delusional. From what I understand, the doctor is as businesslike as possible, and it's not the role of the hospital to critique everything you do, except for overt threats and things like that. It's cruel to be given medication, but from what I understand, escape is easy if the patient is determined to get out. That doesn't mean it's assured, but it's certainly doable.

Most patient/prisoners learn real quick to hide symptoms and lie to escape those insurance money making atrocities called hospitals and psych wards.

Do you feel depressed or want to hurt yourself ? Translation: Do you want to be held prisoner longer in this hell hole ?

From what I noticed from being in the hospital myself (there goes my credibility, right ? ) is that almost everyone else was in the hospital because of bad reactions to psychiatric medications in the first place. Seems the majority of psychiatric inpatients started with going to psychiatry for some minor complaints and got on the "medications" , then get 10x worse, land in the hospital and get put on more of those psych drugs that screwed them up in the first place.

That was my story and what brought me here to speak out about psychiatry's crimes against humanity.

There is an article on MIA about how psychiatry itself leads to hospitalization.

Found it,

July 11, 2014

Nearly 90,000 American adults are going to emergency rooms every year in response to adverse events from psychiatric medications, according to a study in JAMA Psychiatry. http://www.madinamerica.com/2014/07/reactions-psychiatric-medications-hospitalize-17000-annually/

And that's just "adverse events" where the drugs actually got the official blame instead of the patient which is almost rare, the patient and the label almost always take the blame in a psychiatric emergency.

I have been reading and writing for anti psychiatry for a few years now and I am absolutely convinced that society as a whole would be better off if psychiatry was just outlawed right now today and all those multi billion a year dollar pill factories were just shut down and dismantled.

The United States spends about $120 billion a year on mental health treatment and the result has only been MORE and MORE people disabled with psychiatric problems ! Its the psychiatric drugs themselves doing this , they screwed up and disabled me for several years in the insidious way they made me sicker and sicker. All I did was walk into a doctors office complaining of insomnia and that lead me to psychiatry's labels and "treatments" , insomnia is a symptom of depression I was told and I got the usual psychiatric gateway drugs, SSRIs. When I didn't sleep better and got worse more labels and more pills all the way to being in hospitals as the 'side' effects and withdrawals combined wile playing that finding the right meds game they get everyone to play to keep people as life long costumers.

And when people finally figure it out and refuse more keep you sick drugs psychiatry has no problem violating the 8th amendment and threatens its victims with punishments like forced injections and threats of long term lockups to force more of its failed treatments.

Punishment to force compliance is not just for extreme cases like a reader who has never seen behind psychiatric locked doors may think, the threats and coercion are standard operating procedure and used routinely on people who refuse psychiatry's "treatments".

Crimes against humanity, there is no other way to describe psychiatry does to make its billions and billions of dollars.
