Just a quick update, I've been off the injection for 8 months now, i feel alot better than when I was on the treatment and I may even consider that I have been misdiagnosed this whole time too. My cognitive ability is not as good as prior to the meds but I have recovered most of my functioning and am not as tired and lethargic and burdened with side effect.

My pdoc is going to discharge me from the service soon. I can finally say goodbye to psychiatry and treatment and get on with my life.

I still feel that I am not fully back yet from the medication's effect but I think there are signs of hope that I will improve and be more productive and efficient. The meds were just a burden that was forced involuntarily on me and I feel lucky that I am off it. I did not experience any withdrawal effect and never did when I went cold turky before. Living a crap life on these meds is not what life should be and I would feel sorry for anyone who want to take these meds unless they don't appreciate the emotion of being happy.

Survived forced psychiatry

Glad to hear you survived it. Our bodies are the one thing we truly own in this world and its horrible how these "doctors" think they have the right to violate peoples bodily integrity (rape) with these drugs. When the general public thinks of human rights violations I am sure they think about some far far away third world country with an abusive government. Sadly, most of general public has no idea the worst of the worst human rights violators are right here and have the audacity to call what they do "help" and "care".

Hope you keep speaking out. We need to change this.

Yes, Thank you Copycat

I will continue to help those that psychiatry has wronged and perhaps that this system will change instead of being thrown psyche meds down your way. There are better way to improve the health of the mind without resorting to chemical restraint and sedation. Sadly, psychiatry is a system that is founded on abuse and to do away with such system means to do away with something that is so ingrained in society and being part of the state apparatus. People tend to not side with the mentally illed and tend to side with the authority and the judgement of expert panels in favour of keeping the "unwell" away from normal people.
