Hate meds. Withdrawal support for Risperdal needed

Postby cactustomato » Mon Aug 11, 2014 8:48 pm

Three months ago I was prescribed Risperdal for psychosis, and I am currently 10 days or so off the medicine, and I still feel twisting in my face behind my nasal passageways. I have also developed breast tissue which compounded with the withdrawal has lead to a depressed sedative state that still hasn't returned to normal. I scoped the internet trying to figure out stuff from others harmed by this drug and found a moxed but bleak outlook for recovery. Some say two years until things like energy and labido come back.

Has anyone else had experience on this poison? I read dystonia was a rare side effect and they way they speak about it, it seems rare to get gynocomastia and dystonia on this drug, but i fear the word rare doesnt mean impossible. Any positive words for those feeling hopelessly jacked up from meds.

Lawsuits have been filed alleging that Risperdal caused breast growth in males. If you've been injured, you may have a claim. www.google.com/search?q=risperdal+lawsuit

Maybe get your family behind that.
I survived psychiatry.
