I just became aware that one can review physicians at numerous sites on the Internet! I think that is very empowering. Not long ago, a psychiatrist was very offensive to me in multiple ways. I discovered that other patients had reviewed him, and noticed the same flaws I encountered. Such as not listening; not making eye contact; doing evaluations without consulting with the therapist; and being a general, paranoid, jerk!
Wow. Has anyone else read and written reviews?
I hears some doctors ask new patients to sign a form promising to never review the doctor online. However, I read these forms won't stand up in court, as the 1st Amendment trumps them.
I firmly believe the prospect of a negative review is all that will lead some bad psychiatrists to treat patients with respect.

I recommend
www.ripoffreport.com and
www.pissedconsumer.comSearch engines will automatically discover most reports, meaning that within just a few days or weeks, your report may be found on search engines when consumers search, using key words relating to your Report.
I survived psychiatry.

-Milan- etc... YOU make an interesting post, I came across the same online review of a primary doctor... When I moved to a rural area in PA. USA, I shopped around for a new doctor and went to a local doctor... This doctor told me that ALL my high blood meds were wrong and all I needed was a thyroid med and my problem would be solved... Lucky for me that I did not follow this GOD like doctor and his way out opinion, I went to a heart specialist who tweaked my meds and solved my problem... The moral of this story is that a large percentage of doctors don't have a clue as to what is wrong with YOU and how to treat YOU and most could care less if YOU live or die...
To prove my point, ask your psychiatrist how many of their patients that had serious mental illness are still alive after ten or more years of treatment or did they commit some form of suicide (Passive or Violent)...
Ps, drug overdose etc... is a form of suicide in over 90% of cases...

Thanks, and I agree with both of you.
That psychiatrist was so narcissistic and arrogant, he didn't feel any need to truly listen to a patient. I suspect he is the type who only went to medical school because his daddy pressured him to, and because it appealed to his narcissism and greed $$$$.
BTW, 3 sites I have discovered are:
http://www.vitals.com/http://www.ucomparehealthcare.com/http://www.ratemds.com/
