Internet addiction , I am taking a break

I have it you guys, I don't know if its internet addiction or "activism addiction" cause I am really into the anti psych cause. Ya, I do know it's both but it's at the point of unhealthy, it's summer now and I should be doing other stuff. When snow , cold rain and ice all over who cares.

I am not ditching but I am going to try and take a break from online world so if I don't reply to topics and stuff that's why. I am going to try staying off for 2 weeks.

I'm trying to find other things to do too. Not having much luck though

I don't have a social life. Never have. No family. No friends. I have a cat, but in this weather she prefers spending most of her time outside looking for things to kill.

And I'm too crippled to do anything else right now. Heck even sitting here posting s painful. I have probable shoulder AC joint arthritis. It's been agony for over 2 months and getting worse. But I'm going to doctor after doctor and not getting any effective treatment. I need surgery badly, but they just keep telling me to get physical therapy that isn't working. i knew it wouldn't - this shoulder has been separated for 20 years and it way too far gone for PT to help. Psychiatrists aren't the only quacks in the medical profession.

Don't fall for that foolishness and start calling everything an addiction. I work a job online and I enjoy surfing so you can frequently find me online for the majority of my day.

I have a bit of a problem with calling behaviors addictive. It's too strong a term for that. Drugs that have real physical withdrawal symptoms are addictive. It's more of a compulsion. Internet compulsion I understand - especially with those nasty nasty porn sites!
