the difference between a machinist and a shrink

Machinists can't lie. You make the workpiece to the drawing, and you do so in a timely manner. There is no lying. If you screw up a $30K job, there is no excuse.
Shrinks: They can do what they want. And say what they want. And fool around etc. When I tried to get into the psyche ward because I was extremely suicidal, I told the Doc(he wouldn't let me into the psyche ward; I had to attempt suicide in order to get in), I told the Doc that I was very unstable and went through more than 40 jobs(no exaggeration). He seemed to think that that was no big deal and told me that I could keep doing the same thing. Going from job to job when the hell I was in kept getting worse and worse.

Yep. That is what the hospital told me. They told me if I went to the emergency room for being suicidal, they'd keep me for a few hours then send me home. They told me it would be at least four months before I could get in. Itprobably would have been better if I told them a bunch of lies, but I don't know. They were packed for four months supppsedly. I can't imagine that but oh well.

Very poor way to handle a situation when a person is feeling unsafe. Shame on that doctor. Its kind of sad how you needed to act out in order to get treatment. Others go in treatment for less  . My guess is if you had good insurance they would've gobbled you up. Its the theme I see. Those with good insurance get all the treatment (whether it helps or not needed or not) those without insurance go without treatment.

Shrinks do do as they so please, no matter what happens the patient they have immunity granted to them. By far and lot its always looked to me like shrinks are in it for the money. Easy way to get a pay check by just writing prescriptions and making up health reports as it convenient for them. Ok not all make up reports, but some do because they couldn't care less.

All diagnostic material is used for insurance purposes. Otherwise, there's no point in diagnosing anyone...

I don't trust those FNing pieces of $#%^ as far as I can throw 'em.

They don't help people. They get PAID to make your problem worse then attempt to "help" you...psychologists especially. I don't trust any of them.
