Psychiatry was never considered a medical practice like a physician is until recently. Psychiatrists are basically wannabe doctors.

No physicians are NOT psychiatrists, you both need to get your definitions straight.

Physician comes from the word physical, not mental.

Definitions change as humans learn more about the world we live in. Get over it. Fact of the matter is, a psychiatrist is a physician. And yes the brain is physical but the mind is not and that is what psychiatry is about the mind, as far as the brian having a physical disease that is a lie, if you buy into it then be my guest, but plenty of us don't since there is no evidence of so and so "disease". And yet again Ill repeat myself physicians are NOT psychiatrists, go to any hospital and ask for a physician they don't know the first thing about psychiatry because it is not their specialty.

Like I said psychiatry was NOT considered a medical practice until recently, so please stop annoying me with your posts that you have no clue what you are talking about.
