Hey Devilock :)
I definitely didn't read the whole article as it was quite long, but skimmed over it. There were some really interesting points brought up in it, and some really interesting/sad personal stories of people who had some negative experiences with coercive psychiatry. Thanks for sharing.

On a side note, when posting a link in the future, perhaps try to start more of a discussion by sharing more of your thoughts, or briefly summarize the article and why you thought it was important etc. Just posting a link is considered advertising, even if it is to an article.

cheze, sorry, I ddint say much more just was reading thru it and thought the ppl here might find it interesting.

Yeah, I thought it was great, it had some realy horrible stories of ppl having undergone psychiatric abuse, and the 3 F's, Force, Fear and Fraud, was good , some good points I thought.

I thought it was really well written and could really relate to it. Does anyone have any thoughts on it?

"Negative experiences"

Minimisation is a type of deception involving denial coupled with rationalisation in situations where complete denial is implausible.
