How did you find this forum and ... ?

I can't remember what anti psych topic showed up on a google search but that's how I found it.


What would be good topics to make so more people find this forum ?

Bummer how threads "psychiatric abuse" never show up on google cause of the term "substance abuse" on so many psych web pages that the word "abuse" is useless.

Yeah, I found it by typing 'anti psychiatry' into google, it came up as one of the top few.

we could put psych survivor stories, trauma from psychiatry...etc

I came to this forum for a thread about imaginary freinds and then I just moved over to the anti-psych...neded something to waste my time as got kicked off crazyboard abuse of people that are objective about psychiatry. I think I sore some stuff from searching about it previously, can't remember what I read.

Crazy boards, that site is seriously messed up. I still think that one dude is most of the "staff" screen names he uses to mess with people , anyway that post we did has like 2500 views

I feel bad for those that have problems and then get caught up in that twisted site. Its bad enough what they do to people who are objective about psychiatry.

I came here originally for the Bipolar forum looking for support after doing a google search, though moved towards several other forums over time. It was nice to find a place where people had some similar "antipsych" ideas.

Well, the larger forum, I stumbled accross. I had gotten blasted on Dailystrength and was taking a break from Icarus and I found this.

And then I found that Anti-P forum because I was missing Icarus.

Doing a Anti-Psych search to try and find lawyers, civil rights groups, etc. and found this site. I must say I am disappointed in the lack of lawyers who really want to deal with cases like mines and the civil rights groups, which are nothing more than special interest groups who are worthless unless they can come in and make a big stage of your situation. I am the least disappointed with this site even though I have not really gotten any information that has helped me to further my case from this site

I called the human rights hotlines from inside the hospital and they called back and helped me out alot. I think calls from people inside needing help get priority from the human rights groups.

Did they do your "baker act" hearing on time ?

I got my medical records from the ER but not from the behavorial center. The records from the ER have a lot of lies. I was put on a emergency hold type situation where I think they can only hold you a certain amount of days before you get a court hearing. I never got to the point of a court hearing because they released me after a 5 day hold. I am currently trying to get my official 1013 form from the probate court or hospital to see why I was every put on a 1013 and committed against my will. I contacted probate court and they said I needed a lawyer. I contacted legal aide and they said that I do not need a lawyer all I need to do is petition them in writing in person. They also said that I should try getting the official 1013 from the hospital. So, I will request my records again and this time ask specifically for my official 1013. Once I get my official legal 1013 I will then get my records from the behavorial center which will most likely call for me going through a similar process. What these people do is label you, then discriminate against you by making you go through all of these processes that others dont have to go through to get such information.

I had to get a paralegal to help me get those medical records.

Its scary the total lack of a check and balance, how these people can just label you sick and then make a ton of profit wile giving you treatment you don't want and is very abusive.

Seriously , forcing/coercing drugs into your body that change the way you feel , the way you think, your heart beat rate and breathing rate... I think that violation is on the same level as sexual rape and they call it "treatment".

Did they do the coerced/forced drug thing to you ?
