http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn2 ... -head.htmlPatients talk to an avatar of a hostle voice in a theraputic attempt to condition them to feel better. A larger study is underway.
I think that this may be a good complimentary therapy to other non-med approaches.
What do you guys on anti-psych think of this therapy?

I think this could be very helpful. Many people with schizophrenia feel disempowered and feel as though the voices have actual power over them much as in an abusive relationship. Teaching people skills to gain that power back can definitely help them to stand up to these voices.
