making complaints against health services

has anyone actually been successfull making complaints to get out of psychiatry when it does you no good?

in victoria australia we have health services commissioner yet they cant help or have no jurisdiction once a quack has made you involuntary.

tried to get them to forward emails to cheif psychiatrist which I tried calling once, talked to a pompous clinical adviser that informed she wouldn;t forward my concerns to the authority so waste of time.

whats it like in your area, is complaining worth it?

I tried to complain direct to the service but they take it as a sign i am unwell and need my meds tweeked, talk about a mounting complaint I don;t even have the right to complain since I am on a CTO anywhere it sux...how bout a complaint that I am even on an involuntary order, there is nothing.

thing is any patient likely to want to complain about psychiatry will be put on an involuntary order so it means they wont get listened to by any organisation...just because a quack thinks U need a CTO ...Its really bad, complaints about even being on a CTO aren't heard by anyone.

Seems that Australia, U.K or Usa or anywhere psychiatry is the same plague on humanity.

thanks copy cat...I used the online complaint form to spell it out again for Health Services Commissioner..ever being made an involuntary patient, surely they see the logic in this complaint and not just say, "you're involuntary we can't help"

seems if a quack makes you involuntary there is no place for complaining about anything, maybe they get a lot of complaints about psychiatry in general, maybe they should take note and do something about the $#%^ something needs to

going to the mental health review board again as thats the only option to be heard for status as involuntary but so far they only noted what the quacks say about me even though if given enough time and respect I could point out how they are full of $#%^ with everything about me, maybe I am lucky to call myself a shaman to explain this world I inhabit, its interesting, but quacks just say its schizophrenia...even though part of that is having delusions about my family but none of that is true! when will someone hear me out and get me off this order its shitting on my life, they don't understnad it makes everything about life worse all I can think of doing is smoking pot and sleeping. pot for the boredom as I have no spark normally, gives me peace for writing letters and $#%^. even though I probably write much better if I was clean jjust the importance of the stuff that comes to mind and positive way of reflecting on life matters.

There is always the consumer complaint sites that show up on searches for those services, doctor hosptial names ect

While I understand that your beliefs and identify are important to you, and personally I believe that everyone should be able to express their beliefs however they want, but if you know from prior experience that saying these things only keeps you on your CTO order, why do you continue to do them? There have been a few people here who have said that you have to "play the game" unfortunately, this may mean telling them that you agree with them, and that the spiritual realm that you find so important doesn't play a factor in your life. You say these things in order to get off your CTO. Going in front of a review board and saying that you're a shaman doesn't seem to me to be helping the situation.

yeah I say the same thing over and over but it never registers or they just say its talking around in circles or disorganised thinking to ignore everything.

they are treating my attitude and they have no insight into how I normally respond to the $#%^ in psychiatry..... If I gave in it wouldn't matter what drug they had me on it would be an improvement to the current situation of not being heard

shamanism incorporates all of my apparent symptoms and it should be considered as personal characteristics, yet they just say its the same as schizophrenia.....not that they even know what is schizophrenia

I think truth and justice will prevail I just never should lose sight of it...don't know how I could possibly play the game like everyone else, maybe smarter but to reduce myself to believing in them like am supposed to is just too difficult to arrange
