Machines and Madness

Postby The_Ghoul » Sat May 11, 2013 9:28 pm

The origins of mental illness are thus: Machines. WHat is life? electric forces moving atoms and replicating. Our reliance onmachines has created a new type of demonic life force that surrounds us and is constantly leaching our life energies. Until we can break free of theirhold and return back to the woods madness will be the norm as a soulless population masquerade as living sentient beings. Psychologists, doctors, politicians, they are all aware of this, they themselves having traded their consciousness into computers capable of mind uploading. In this manner they have achieved immortality and are the same ruling class indfferent bodies that have been in control since the 1990s. Stop taking their posion pills and slaving for their monster machines. Go outside, sit in the sun, yourmind will replinish itself .

Machines are only a small part of the problem, one of many. Usually they have more benefit then not, but the problem comes when the behavior becomes addictive. Often certain machines like computers and video games become a distraction from reality, usually giving an alternate reality for some to live in. The fact people gravitate so much to alternate realities or realities where they feel fully in control is the major indication something in is wrong.

It reminds me of a quote from the movie/play Bug, where Peter, the main character says, "Sometimes, though, when you're lying in bed at night, you can feel it. All the machines, people working their machines, their works, humming. I don't like to go on about it 'cause it freaks people out. It freaks me out. I wish I didn't think about it, either, but they don't let you forget. They want you to know they're there. Nothing makes them happier than knowing that people are aware the machines are up and running."
