MENTAL ILLNESS AND ANTIPSYCHOTIC DRUGS-?-

I have ofton wondered why human beings with mental illness that are forced and or take these powerful and mind altering antipsychotic drugs. The side affects are generally so bad that you have to be forced to take them. That being said, is it possible that these powerful antipsychotic drugs have a side affect that also causes -YOU- to take them as a side affect....

Can it be that the whole mental health industry makes -YOU- take these powerful drugs that can make -YOU- into a -Lemming- that is devoid of free will....

Can it be that the whole mental health industry has given -YOU- only options that are inhuman and full of pain and suffering, like medical experimentation such as partial -Lobotomy- and or electrial shock treatment etc. etc. etc.....

Can it be that the whole mental health industry is just a bunch of ................................????????

I am one of those that fell for the fraud of biological psychiatry, low serotonin ect and started with psychiatry's beginner drugs the anti depressants. The clever marketing told me insomnia was a symptom of depression ect then side effects and a reckless prescriber made my so sick I ended up with labels reserved for the most severe mental illness'. I think know what severe mental illness feels like cause I was made so sick and earned the labels.

If I was truely suffering from severe mental illness I would rather be kept on Morphine/Heroin like in the old days then endure some of todays treatments (again).

I CHOOSE to take psychiatric medication. It is my choice. I am fully aware of the side effects and that if/when I choose to stop them there may be withdrawal symptoms. I weighed the pros and cons in my life, and decided that at this point, this is the best decision for me. There have been long periods of time where I have not chosen to take psychiatric medications. Let's not forget that not all people experience all of those side effects that are listed. Currently I do not experience ANY side effects from the medication that I take. This is something that the person needs to decide and weight the costs/benefits for themselves. For me, the fear of "what if I get this side effect" is not worth the current benefits that I receive. I don't believe that anyone should feel that they are "out of their mind" for the informed choices that they choose to make in their own lives.
