hi P0ci,
sorry I missed your answer for so long!! I was looking for info about executive functions and I was brought to this thread, and reading it, I came to your last answer...which I had not seen earlier.
sorry and thanks, yes I was referring to that program.

You are probably talking about Anna Nicole Smith, another Marylyn Monroe type death. Dont beleive what the media tells you. They were all victims... Just like Micheal Jackson and Kurt Kobain to name a few.[/quote]

it has been months since my last medicine..the transition was very very difficult,
but here I am,at the other side of the bridge. It is a bit like walking in egg shells...
....one step at a time..it is not easy.... my doc has been a great support. he came and we have a talk with the girls that still live with me. sometimes I am struggling with the basis, so I miss some
assertiveness...and young people happily take over.

the spasms only come back when the stress grows, when I get nervous...at this point I am just avoiding to fill my cup......the pain in my lower back it comes automatic with stress and tension,
so I am taking when necessary diclofenac, magnesium and my vitamins.
anxiety is my twin, and fear my shadow, but as long as they do not drive my life, maybe I can keep on walking. greetings

When a new drug gets tested, the results of the trials should be published for the rest of the medical world — except much of the time, negative or inconclusive findings go unreported, leaving doctors and researchers in the dark. In this TED Talk, Dr Ben Goldacre asserts that Publication Bias — the practice of selectively publishing trial results that serve an agenda — represents a “systematic flaw of the scientific basis of medicine,” He calls it “a cancer at the core of evidence-based medicine” and explains why these unreported instances of negative data are especially misleading and dangerous. Important TED talk as he exposes what is happening in medical research which undermines and contradicts everything modern medicine prides itself in.

I saw it, and it helped me a lot to understand how things get done,
or better said, how things remain undone.
thanks!
