Honestly this is the best argument for switching you could possibly have. You really don't need any more reasons than that.
I have no idea whether her suggestions for med changes make sense or not. But that's kind of the point - neither do you. She sounds like she has some serious communication problems on top of the fact that you hate her. Do I always agree with what my psychiatrist suggests? Not always - but he always tells me exactly why he suggests this or that - very clearly.
I mean I could see potential reasons for getting rid of the prns even if you are stable, right? Thorazine's powerful and Ativan's addictive so maybe you don't need them anymore. When I've been stable for a while that's been a time to see if I still need everything I'm on. So it's a possibility.
But the fact that you have no clue if that's her thinking? Really bad sign. The whole thing with wanting you to come in every month? I don't see anything wrong with that if you've been a little more unstable recently. But seriously - was it necessary to say "I'm going to make you...blah blah...this is not a threat." Would you have had any problem at all if she'd just said "well in that case I'd be more comfortable if I saw you more frequently?"
So you hate her and she can't communicate. Get someone else.
