I've had this before when I was doing some courses at university. I never sort any help with it and it went away eventually. From what I can gather it is a stress related illness which i consider maybe something along the lines of tight muscles in your ears. I don't consider it along the lines of 'voices' in your head but more along the lines of walking away from a rock concert or putting a shell to your ear.
