Lets make a list like on craigs list.
First here is something on "Where Do Messages of Hopelessness in Mental Health Care Come From?
1. How prevalent are messages of hopelessness in mental health care?
2. What are the sources and contents of these messages?
3. What is the veracity of these messages? In other words, do hopeless prognoses and statements about recovery, medication use, etc. generally prove true or false?

Exiled had a great link on the Bipolar forum -
http://www.power2u.org/downloads/recove ... don_ts.pdf I also posted one on recovery on that forum -
tp://www.power2u.org/articles/recover ... e_can.html
I searched a bit on google and I found a really cool post - and it was from this forum but in 2007:
bipolar/topic23917.htmlAfter reading this, I was happy to hear such similar ideas as I have. Very refreshing to read "After some 10,000 hours of meditation I had a spiritual experience. I discovered myself, quite accidentally. For the first time in 25 years I gained self love". There was also the same kind of critisim that I see on our forum today - "I agree with you guys, you can't wish Bipolar away, that would be great if you could."
Thanks Copy_Cat - very good topic. Wish I would have thought of it!
Diagnosis: Bipolar I
Meds: none
