Anyone ever suicidal BEFORE medication ?
Im talking about in the days before the very first pill.
Im going to put a poll to keep so people can vote this in private.
I almost hurt myself bad that destructive suicidal night, those days on all those pills still feel like a different life a different reality looking back. I had no idea , medication spellbinding its been named.
I survived psychiatry.

I never really had any serious thoughts of suicide before medication.
Anti-depressants made me have very strong thoughts of suicide, almost as if thinking about suicide made me happy. It was the strangest thing.
After being on anti-psychotics, I now struggle with thoughts of suicide every single day. It's not some random impulse caused by the drugs, but rather a method of escape from this emotionless, soulless hell. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I know that God/s would never forgive me for doing so, yet it seems as though my life ended when my brain was destroyed by anti-psychotics. To continue 'living' (if you can even say that) is truly torturous.
I cling to the faint hope that I may return to my true self, though that hope is very faint indeed. My knowledge slips away day by day, and without it I am nothing.

Suicide sucks, but I've read some stuff about people becoming suicidal after they stop their meds.
Merry Christmas all!

I know only 10 people have voted so far, but the results thus far seem to suggest that drugs simply don't do anything about suicide. Hence, don't affect our symptoms that cause us to feel the way we felt. Though in my personal experience, I never felt suicidal except for on abilify.
Live life by the horns, or die wishing you had.
