I was checking out some vids on psychiatry and the anti-psychiatry movement. I had no idea about the "Thud" experiment, which was truly incredible. You can see it on youtube:

I'm sure some people on this forum would find this fascinating. I've been fortunate to get out of hospitals relatively quickly, but it's never been easy to convince doctors that I was better. This hit home.

This is truly frightening and a good incentive to do everything possible to avoid being hospitalized. I've been misdiagnosed twice by psychiatrists and put on medications which have caused more harm than good. :x

I would like to see the results of a repeat of this experiment today. Very interesting, thanks for sharing.
