You Never Leave

They drug you up, they tell you you are better, and they let you out , to continue treatment on the outside. But you never leave. Your mind is forever there, forever scarred, forever reminded you are defective and unstable. Something alien and incompatible with the world. And deep down, you want to go back. Cause there, you ain't so bad. There, you are surrounded by others. Away from the prying eyes of the judgmental and harsh realities. You never leave.

I found a doctor who is about as crazy as I am. I also found friends who haven't been diagnosed with any mental disorder, but are crazy enough to make me feel some what "normal". Otherwise, I just feel alien at work because those guys are truly what society would call normal.

I've left the meds behind, but you got a point. It seems impossible to be a regular person again.
Diagnosis: Bipolar I
Meds: none
