On/off mild anorexia?

Postby OutOfPlace3 » Thu Jan 05, 2012 3:59 am

So I guess I'm worried about anorexia. I've had binge/fast cycles in the past but i've never been underweight because of it. I love and hate food. It tastes so good and sometimes i'll just constantly snack on junk food throughout the entire day. I'm fat now and I hate it. Other people say I'm fine but I cover up with sweaters and baggy shirts. I'm short and weigh more or equal too people inches taller than me. I hate it. I look disgusting. I feel guilty after eating a bunch of junk. obviously. And if I get really preoccupied I look at the calories in things. I once went days not eating or eating less than 100 calories a day. or I went 3 days without drinking or eating anything and lost 5 pounds. I was so happy. but I've gained more than that since then. I look in the mirror and I just see a fat ugly disgusting girl. I'm cutting all sweets out of my diet tomorrow. I don't know how I'll do it because my sweet tooth is insane but I have to. I have to lose weight. I could be healthy at 100 pounds.

Hello there, and welcome to you also

Again, i would say you could fall into the category of EDNOS, or most possibly disordered eating. Both can be just as damaging to the body, and give risk of malnutrition.
There is help out there, if you want it. Why not give your GP a call?

Thanks for giving me an idea what I might have. I don't even know who my GP is and my mother would find out then. I'll try and figure this out myself though thank you very much :)
