Eating disorders are more about certain behaviours rather than a particular weight(BTW, you seem to be a good weight, no need to lose 15lbs).
The question is do you have any of the problem behaviors such as binging or purging? Do you restrict your food intake in really unhealthy ways? Those are the things to worry most about. People get too wrapped up with size. You are hearing this first hand from the queen of "10 more pounds and I'll be happy".
"Cinderella and the prince lived, they say, happily ever after, like two dolls in a museum case never bothered by diapers or dust, never arguing over the timing of an egg, never telling the same story twice..." Anne Sexton

You dont look like your fat or emiciated either one. I say if you want to loose 15 pounds why not?? 15 pounds will not be starving yourself and if it improved your self image go for it. I hate everyone who thinks because someone wants to loose soome weight they are anorexic. Sometimes people just want to shed a few pounds, thats all.

Besy of luck :D

I'd say just maybe tone up a little, weight loss doesn't seem necessary for you at all! If you're unhappy work on the muscle tone etc, otherwise you'l just be, in the words of my ever-tiny but muscle-free younger sister, "a skinny limp noodle".

Good luck honey!

Hi Ilona,

I don't think that you are either too fat or too skinny. You look as if you're at a pretty nice weight to be at in my opinion. That is just my opinion though - it's yours that counts the most.

I'd agree with Smallcat in that if you feel unhappy with the way you look, becoming more toned might be a better way to feel better about the way you look, rather than changing your weight.

There's no need to change yourself because of your boyfriend's opinion - it really shouldn't be up to him what size you are - changing yourself to fit other peoples' opinions isn't a good way to make yourself feel better. Ensuring that you are happy in yourself is more important and will be far better for your self esteem in the long run.

Honey I think you've a lovely figure and I don't think you need to lose any weight. Your slim, definitely not fat,so enjoy food, enjoy having your figure and enjoy life! Don't get caught up in dieting when you don't need to,its only gonna create problems, trust me I know and you don't want that.
Another thing, have a look at your boyfriend. I can't really judge because I don't know him but if he is on crack or you think that he is then there is definitely some dishonesty going on there. And also the fact that he is telling you that you are too skinny like criticising your body, doesn't make him sound so great, like the guy should love you for who you are. Just think about what kind of a person he really is. Its not good to have negative people around you, they will only make you feel bad about yourself.
You have so much more to offer the world other than your body so please don't get caught up in trying to make a perfect body, cuz the fact of the matter is ,is that there is no such thing. Just be healthy and happy dear because you are gorgeous! :D
