Just been diagnosed..looking for someone on my position pls.

Hi I'm Adelle and I've just been diagnosed with anorexia.
I've had it a while and I'm just getting over calories, but have moved onto being paranoid of sugar and fats.
I have had blood test done a couple days ago and I won't know the results just yet. I'm 5 foot 5, 26years old and weigh about 7 and a half stone. Is there anyone here please who can talk to me about this who's in the same position? I don't make myself sick/take laxatives or pills.
I'm seeing someone about this and soon will be seeing a dietician who specialises in this condition. I am also due for an ECG. Please reply if you can talk. I'll pm you my email msn addy and you can add me. If you want I'm on facebook as Adelle King and my pic is me in my wedding dress. Thankyou.

I do not have anorexia, but I have had an eating disorder to carying degrees for more than 5 years now. i'm male; 27 years old. I applaud you for seeking help, and my best advice is to be as open and honest about your problem as you can be. Also, do all that your doctor and dietician tell you to do. You might as well give it a shot - what can you lose at this stage? I felt impelled to reply because this anorexia forum is not that active - people generally come and go here, but there is never many people at any one time, if you know what I mean.

I know excatly how you are feeling. I have anoreixa and it completely controls my life. I cannot stop the voice in my head or anything like that. I've tried but failed miserably. I have been sent to a counsellor and she gave me a meal plan which hasn't worked at all. Last night i was taken to A&E because of heart pains. It was so scary But I understand and know excatly how you feel. If you want to speak to me more then please do not hesitate to message me!
