I'm not sure about the amount of Copper in each tablet but I just want to say that nobody reading this should take these tablets to excess. Take them AS DIRECTED on the box. A build-up of metals such as Zinc & Copper (Transition metals) and Calcium (Alkaline Earth metal) in the body can lead to serious health consequences.
In the case of excess Calcium, it can lead to depression and a build-up of hard-plaque in the arteries surrounding the heart (Atherosclerosis).
Kevin.

Can you provide a bit more information as to the sudden dramatic change. My daughter has Anorexia for 3 years now and we are trying everything we can think of. I had her started on a Zinc supplement 2 days ago (50MG) per day and I am going to discuss the copper with her doctor today.

I know this thread is 9 years old, but if, loveisjoy, you happen to revisit the site, wd you care to provide an update? We are about to give zinc, EFAs and probiotics a try for our D, struggling with RAN for 2 years... Seems like at this point the physiological feedback loops are stronger than the psychological ones and that zinc wd help.

Your post seems very sales-oriented. Perhaps if you could make another reply with less dramatic information, you would seem more credible.
Thank you, Chucky. How...insulting that “The Anorexia Is Gone!!!
