You don't need to be skin and bones

Postby Spokane Girl » Thu Sep 20, 2007 8:42 am

to be an anorexic. I found out on Tuesday I was diagnosed with it recently even though I don't look like I came out of concentration camp. I'm told I am thin than I should be and I am under my natural weight. But I don't think I am underweight. I was told to have my aunt and uncle hide the scale for a day and eat five times a day and see how I feel at the end of the day.
Titanic is a good diaper movie, lots of flooding.

Do you have any symptoms of anorexia, or are they just diagnosing you as it because you are underweight? If you have been diagnosed based on symptoms of anorexia, I am glad that you have seen a doctor and will be trying to gain weight, though honestly if you've been depriving yourself, even normal meal portions 3x daily would be a good place to start if you aren't comfortable eating five times daily yet. Wishing you a healthy recovery!

They used the criteria and I do not think I am underweight.

you can tell if you are "underweight" by running your height and weight through a bmi (body mass index) calculator. they're easy to find online, just google it.
