I've done some unhealthy dieting in the past and have noticed my oral healthy has gotten worse.
Seems like my gums are receding a bit.
Does anyone know if there is a way to mitigate or halt the effects of unhealthy dieting on your body?'
Do doctors have a way of helping people with eating issues from hurting their bodies? for example, would they recommend you take a vitamin supplement or something?

I can't tell you what you may or may not be struggling with, but I recommend going to the dentist or doctor ASAP. Since I'm an adult and I have confidentiality, I actually was brave enough to tell my dentist that I'm recovering from purging and restricting, which helped explain some of my problems.
In the mean time, I recommend to start using Sensodyne toothpaste (or something similar), flossing regularly, and using a mouthwash that has fluoride in it.
Best of luck, and know that you're most likely not the only patient they have seen with an ED. If there is a conflict, you can always get a new doctor. The sooner you're treated the less damage is done.
