many of us feel this way, those damn models.

We want to fit in, we want to fit in cool tight jeans, have tight bellies, etc,

I know how you feel, but I am addicted to food. But I would rather be dead than fat too.

I think you and I both need to exercise our asses off, and get toned up and then we can be happy with our outer appearance again.

You weigh so little, but I know your self image lies to you in the mirror, ever hear the saying " We are our own worst critics"

Take good care,

miumiu, stop eating sugary foods or adding sugar.

Melissa, accept it, people grow up, it isn't so bad.

STARVING MIGHT HELP

Postby MELISSA » Thu Aug 10, 2006 7:51 pm

MAYBE I SHOULD JUST STARVE MYSELF UNTIL I BECOME VERY SMALL AND THAN I WILL NOT GROW UP :?: :?:

Maybe you should become an explorer and discover the fountain of youth, or maybe you should build a time machine so you can teleport to the future and still be young.

Heya Melissa,

Your body wants to grow so please let it. In order to look beautiful you must eat food. By messing-around with your diet now you are not allowing your body to grow to it's full potential. Also, you are training your brain into thinking that food is scarce. Thus, whenever you do actually eat food your body will retain all fat and sugar (Both are stored as Adipose tissue).

The simple conclusion is that you need food to look good. Do not give-in to the 'social etiquette' of starving yourself. You can still be thin with food in your body. So, separate yourself from that way of life and pursue the things that truly make you happy.

Read-up more on how food is used in the human body. With apt knowledge perhaps you will realise that you need food to look better.

Take care always and forever sweetheart,
Kevster.

Hey Melissa,
A couple years ago I felt the same way as you did: I didn't want to grow up, didn't want to have curves, and the thought of growing up scared me. But you have to let yourself accept that you can't be a little kid forever... You have to give your body what it needs to grow and take care of you, and eating healthy won't make you "fat". The fact is, 120 is a low weight for someone who is 5'6''. Getting down to 90 pounds isn't going to make you happy.... I'm sure you know this deep down inside, since you were Anorexic once before. The only way you're ever going to be happy is if you can accept yourself as you are- tell yourself that you're "good enough" and that you don't have to be perfect... If you don't accept this, than you'll never feel happy with your body, or yourself. It's not easy with the pressures of society and the pressure that we as human beings put on ourselves, but I hope that you can overcome this idea of being a child forever, so that you can overcome your eating disorder.
Take care, try to stay strong and keep your head up...
