In my case, I went to my doctor and was prescribed an anti-depressant. The name is misleading though, because an anti-depressant can be great for letting you cope with anger too. Ultimately, I coped with the anger by slowing down life. This allowed me to think about things and handle certain situations better (situations where I'd previously become very angry). So, try to sit back and slow things down...

I agree with Kevin. But, in my case, I was never given medication for this. Instead, I just tried to slow down my fast-paced schedule. Sometimes, too much stress can cause angry fits - which is why it is sometimes good to just step out of your busy schedule and have time to relax. This really helps in anger management.
If you want to be happy, BE.

...and which techniques did you use, orangerain? I find it admirable that you were able to cope with it without medication, because as I look back to my past, I don't see how I could ever have coped without getting the anti-depressant. I was completely off the rails and was actively trying to kill myself - it was that bad.
