Friend,
It is imperative that you begin to apply stress management and relaxation skills to your life. The fight/flight mechanism is highly irritable and stress management along with changing your thinking will bring about changes in your behavior. Here's a plan. When you first identify a trigger for anger - take a time-out. You need to start identifying and challenging your hot self-talk which is causing the aggressive behavior. During the week begin to apply relaxation procedure. Read the Mayo Clinic article on stress management: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/relaxa ... ue/SR00007

During relaxation you may want to incorporate prayer as many have found this helpful. Learning assertive communication is helpful but, you need to calm down the emotional center of your brain in order to learn other coping skills.

I would highly encourage you to go for a counseling evaluation to rule out other mental health issues which may be precipatating this behavior also. Hope this is helpful for you!

It may be that the area of the brain affected is partly triggering anger. But, experts say that almost everyone can learn anger management skills and can improve their response to anger triggers.
I am suggesting counseling because you need to get anger under control quickly in order to avoid harming someone else and getting in trouble with the law.
