Extreme Burnout! Very frustrating

Postby TheFaultCraft » Thu May 21, 2015 3:49 am

So I am in a challenging charter high school and holding down a job as well. Everything was well my first few months, but as time is progressing, I'm starting to dread work and become very angry while im there. I did the math and my day going from 5:30am-9:30pm nonstop, plus a 7 hour shift on some Sundays averages about 50-55 hours a week. Juggling that and homework is very stressful. I plan to work this job through the summer but I want to quit when next school year starts up because I'm doing our cross country team that practices 6 days a week and I want to rest and do homework the 7th. But the issue is my parents are very set on me keeping this job. After school and practice I'll be even more tired and probably working an unhealthy amount to the point of extreme anger. What should I do/ tell my parents?
