what about you?
Mourir,
You aren't the only one who has felt like this, in fact, everyone feels envy once and a while. I used to feel like that too but then I came to learn a few things about life that set things straight for me. Maybe I can pass this knowledge on to you, and it could help you out.
First of all, nobody is #1 at everything. Someone may be the best skier in the world but know nothing about fixing cars. Another example would be a rich person who is handsome/beautiful but doesn't know how to love as well as someone less fortunate than them. The great thing is though is while we may not be able to be #1, we have the freedom to try. There is nothing in this world we cannot become if we put the hard work and time into something.
Second, you probably don't believe in yourself. You look at what you
don't have and think you are less than the people around you. What if fact you should look at is what you
DO have and what you have done. Look at all of your accomplishments in life, write them down, and whenever you feel
blue, look at the paper and remind yourself how awesome you are!
Third, your past makes up what you are but doesn't have to define you. We all have good and bad experiences in life, and unfortunately the bad ones always try to outshine the good ones. Remember who you are but don't be afraid to change. It is never too late to become the person you've dreamt about!
Last, focus on the present because that's all that matters. Many people, me sometimes included, are always stressing about what we're going to do vs what we are doing right now. It puts a lot of stress on your brain and is even documented so in Men's Health magazine. Look into Tai Chi, Yoga, or meditation practice to reduce your stress levels. Even 10 minutes a day of meditation has helped me a lot to reduce my stress and live better.
P.S. Never stop learning!
