I'm not saying this for my own posts but am noticing that some posts get viewed but no responses. We are all here for advice. I feel bad for those people whose posts get ignored as what might seem mundane and trivial to some of us might not be to the person that posted it. Let's all do our part and be kind to each other. Surely no one's posts are that insignificant are they?

I think all posts get more views than responses here. That's partly because we're an open forum. And so guests can read as well as regular members. But I think perhaps also because people read either looking for answers and help themselves. Or they simply don't know how to reply. [This applies to me some of the time for sure.]
And in this particular forum, people don't seem to stay very long. Sometimes they find other parts of the forum that suit them better. And post more there. I'm glad you've been posting to other threads here though. Starting and supporting conversations is the best way to develop community and boost responses for all of us.

More than machinery, we need humanity.
More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.”
