Anger Management

Postby Affliction » Thu Nov 14, 2013 2:43 pm

Hi.

I don't know how to get rid of my anger. I've tried breaking windows, assaulting people and setting fire to numerous buildings, but I'm still angry. What should I do?

Thanks.

If this is true, you should realize that assault and violence do not solve your problem. Violence begets violence, and the same is true with anger. I would suggest not only seeing a psychiatrist, but begin practicing yoga and meditation.

The yoga will help you release all of your pent-up energy, the meditation will help you control your anger and clear your mind, and the psychiatrist can be someone you can talk to for advice. I used to have anger issues as well, not as extreme but they took me a while to control. When you let the anger take over you, it's as bad as doing a bad drug like heroine, You need to take control of your life or you won't be living it to the fullest.

Did you try boxing? It feels much better than smashing windows ;)
I smashed glasses, cups, and plates too. yea it helped. but i was the one having to do the cleaning and I was so disappointed in myself afterwards. :/
