You don't want to tickle me either - I'm so ticklish that it's like pain. I squirm around like a snake being choked.

same here! same here! People are always suprised I don't like getting tickled.....they (the not so ticklish people) are like, "isn't it fun?" I am just like..."don't touch me! get back!" then I attack if they try to approach....lol

Lol, I'm also in the Too-Ticklish Club.

I was going to ask if it almost hurts anyone else when tickled.

Seriously, if someone's hand comes near my ticklish spots (regardless of whether or not they are actually trying to tickle me), the skin feels like it's bracing itself and I jump away, or I may smack their hand away and recoil. I'll get myself laughed at this way, lol.

Kevin you sound more like me.... My muscles go weak, it hurts, and I just sort of squirm around and recoil. Can't do anything else, not even escpape. Heh, should anyone try to kidnapp me, all they have to do is tickle my sides and I pretty much become incapacitated.

Tickling is unbearable. >.< I can't stand it!

Some people are more susceptible to it than others.... The worst are the ones who hurt...
Lol, I know one guy whose only ticklish spot is on the back of his neck, it doesn't even tickle much. You have to go at it a certain way for it to do anything to him. Even if you do suceed, all he does is giggle a little and then scrunch up. Hardly moves a muscle. That's. All. People like that suck. :(

Btw, thank you for letting us 'have' this forum. :D Should anyone need it for it's purpose, we'd probably have to leave, wouldn't we? In that case, could we pay rent?

If I am tickled I never go week, I tense up and attack, I have actually started crying from being tickled by someone who didn't know I didn't like it, it scares me badly for some reason, so I attack...and I am so dead serious about the attack thing....I have hurt people before (on accident of course).....I hate the "tickle fingers" where they wiggle their fingers at you...I usually run away and hide......but if people chase me saying they will tickle me, that is sometimes fun, as long as they don't actually try to tickle me

Well, like Sun-Girl, tickling actually hurts me because my skin is very sensitive. When my brother used to tickle me, my brain would enter 'survival mode' and would 'force' me to do everything in my power to get out of the situation. It felt like life or death.

Anyway - yeh - if someone objects to this thread then Id' have to lock it and not allow ye to hijack a forum again. Until that happens, do what ye want here!

Kevin.

Sounds more painful for you than I. For me it just tickles bad at first and then seconds later it begins to hurt. I guess my skin's probably sensitive. My pain threshold kind of sucks, too. If that's what sensitive skin means.

It's kind of strange how some people pretty much go limp and others can aggressively fight when tickled. Even if the person is hurting in either case. xD

I'm sorry for jacking the forum. For all the years it's been here, no one's touched it, and it most likely stay that way. I figured no one would miss it. xD

Thanks for letting us have it. I think I already said thanks? Oh well, there it is again, haha. :)

...... what if we tickled you?
Or what about my rent offer? You never answered. As the moderator, you're sort of like the landlord, lol.
Nah, screw rent. We'll just tickle you. Or Megan could just use her ninja skills on you. 8)

Just kidding.

It hurts me too...but i dont think it has to do with sensitve skin for me, i just dont like being touched..i feel it is like my muscles hurt, or maybe psychological. No one in my family tickles me because i hurt who tries. They often threaten to tickle me and chase me around but dont actually touch me because i get mad. Sometimes freinds try and tickle me cause they dont know how much i dont like it...this makes me think...i wonder if tickleishness might be related to personality? hmmm...probably not though, lol, (ps-thanx 4 letting us keep the thread)

I'll just put on my tickle-proof skin (Yes I have different types of skin that I can put on each day). Okay, if you believe that, then you are the most gullible person I know.

I think I made a mess in the Trichotillomania Forum (one of our other very inactive forums): http://psychforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=173143

Whoa. What? How do you have a second skin? Is it like a special jacket or something? That's all I can think of.

Just joking. We've all met people who have believed that joke, though. LOL I have a friend like that. Heheh, she's fun to play little tricks on. I don't do anything mean, of course, or berate her in anyway.

As for your post in the trich forum.......
You and Bereft did nothing wrong. I saw nothing insulting or patronizing. Nothing to get angry or offended over. Just two people trying to help? Don't feel bad, people are usually just very sensitive about those things.
I've had dermatillomania since age 5 and pick my lips several times a day.... It's not trich or bulimia bad, not saying that it is. Anyway, I try to look at it in a realistic, hardened light, so that whatever reactions my habit may bring from others won't offend me unless it's blantantly meant to be degrading. Hope that makes sense.

Rationality and understanding. They're good. xD

No offense to the guys in the trich forum, btw.

Also, Chuckeese (lol joking)......
