hope there is help out there

always had a problem with some kind of addiction. i didnt drink until 22. im 28 now. hated beer till 25. now beer is the only thing my body can handle and its taking a toll. drinking 12 beers has turned into snorting a few lines of coke as well. on top of taking .25mg of xanax a day and 25mg of zoloft plus 2 advil and nexium. i know that sounds like not that bad but for me it is. my body is not the same and i cant take it anymore. id never do anything to hurt myself but im sick of repeating this cycle. i used to snap out of it after 2 or 3 days but lately im sick with a hangover and so i continue. im on about a 4 day small binge but mixing zoloftk, xanax and beer all in one day is worse that just doing much more of one of them. i hope this forum can help me. ive tried to help myself for a while so im not in denial. ive been ready. im praying for myself and everyone else in my situation.

Hi, jbeweb! Please feel free to post here any time. I hope you find the help you need. Have you tried seeing a doctor or going to a support group for this? Does any one in your family know and would they be willing to help? Maybe ask them to come spend a little time with you or take you to a doctor so you can snap out of this and then get treatment.

I've been where you are. It's not fun, and it gets worse. AA saved my life and it can save yours. You do not have to suffer anymore.
