Drinking is a great escape! I love drinking after work just to feel the buzz and not feel anxious at all.
But you know what I used to love just as much without needing to drink that would be just as nice an escape.. videogames.. or even just chatting.. or making music, and I realized that I miss loving them so much, and miss them being all I needed.
I kind of feel that the more 'escapes' you give yourself.. (I have more than just drinking) The less exciting other more healthy escapes become, they get spread thin. So.. I'm going to try to lose that perspective, and forget how great drinking and smoking feels.. and try to come closer to my old escapes. Well wish me luck, cause i'm never going to meetings! XD
