Sobriety

Postby Rob K? » Sun Aug 11, 2013 6:24 am

day5/6: the physical changes are happening rapidly... mind sharper... senses sharper... focus still hit and miss... appetite still weak... blood is boiling... but head & heart seem to be on the same page now... no more infighting... almost welcoming the burn...

good bye old man... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzpxTmlWOC4

6: sleep did not come easy... slept past target time... but i needed it... no nightmares... blood has gone quiet... 'normal' body functions (don't wanna get to graphic  ) returning (and welcomed)... no more runny nose or black death hack... paranoia very low, as all energy and blurry focus must stay on the blood... mood stable... food/appetite, catch up on the lost time 2day's goal...

time for shower (it is strange to actually feel a shower...)

Well this post is kind of old but, hope you've stayed on the wagon man. I get what your saying with the normal daily activities, even taking care of hygeine and sh*t when you're constantly under the influence. I've been binge drinking for the past five days and haven't even showered all this time.. (gross I know).

I pass out then wake up 10 minutes before having to be at work or some other thing, I missed so much homework because I'm sittin at home drinking. Now my appetite is being weird, and while I'm not hungover anymore, I'm still a little disoriented and am having trouble with my depth perception. Hope I can go longer off the sauce this time and not just start again when I get paid again. Too much chaos.

Well keep it up man, life is way too peaceful without hangovers and withdrawals for us to deprive ourselves of it just for a substance.
