Shaky Hands Problem

Postby chipper34 » Tue Feb 12, 2013 11:56 pm

Good evening folks,

This is my first post because I've recently come to terms with the fact that I am an alcoholic. It's a tough thing to over come, but I've honestly been doing pretty good with sobriety. However, there is one issue I'm struggling with; shaky hands. I'm still in college so between note taking and tests you can imagine how annoying this is. There's a million posts on different sites about dealing with shaking hands but I thought you guys may be able to help out with my particular situation.

Thanks

no takers????

here's a cure... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNIVG-Lq0jk ... works every time

On a more serious note I have found using a thicker pen with a soft grip has helped. Try to relax your grip and also write on a softer surface like a notepad. Let the pen glide as much as you can.

I've always been the type to have a death grip on the pen. Combine this with a hard writing surface like a desk and well... the results end up lookin like a 6.7 on the richter scale...

Oh and when the waitress ask if you want the soup... always say no thanx... unless you want the person across from you to feel like they're in the front row of a Gallagher show  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gasAFyonmmI

...good luck

First slow down on drinking like cut down to two to three cups a day, drink it slowly don't get carried away, that's how it will work, kind of like getting off of medications slowly, so try that and good luck.

This is a good idea, gradually decreasing your alcohol intake will make the withdrawal symptoms less severe. You'll still have the, but they won't be incapacitating and they will improve over time. Be safe.
