Hello!
22 Days without alcohol and feeling good!
Christmas went OK thanks for asking. Was drinking almost every night if only a little. It made me feel sluggish and tired though I had good time with family.
Packed it all in at the end of December having my last drink of wine on the 28th. I haven't missed it. I hope I won't start getting cravings. My head feels clear and it's nice to wake up without feeling that dry mouth and fuzzy head. Feeling clean and calm and want to keep it that way.

Congrats on 22 days!
Blame it on me, but know that I won't regret one iota.

Hello,
I believe I am exactly like you. I could have written your post myself. It's very hard to feel like you can't control the drinking when you can control everything else in your life. I am convinced that is is largely a genetic trait -- that of not being able to control drinking. That doesn't mean that we don't have to keep trying to control it. I do not want to stop all together... so each day I try to control it... I guess when it gravely affects my life or the life of my loved ones, then I will stop...
