Although I do not suffer from Agoraphobia exactly, I do suffer from Social Phobia. It still seems funny saying that as I did not even know that there was name for it until last night. Much like Agoraphobia, I don't leave the house and cannot see any changes in my life happening any time soon. If there is anyone posting on here that wants to talk however, I would love to do so. I have experienced most symptoms relating to the two phobias at one time or another, but expressing myself online is at least one thing that I can do unaffected.

Welcome to the forum, JStar. This is a quieter area than the Social Phobia forum, so it would be nice to have more conversation here.
As a side thought, if no-one's mentioned it, you might also like to look at
avoidant-personality/ as there are some discussion of traits that might be familiar for you.

More than machinery, we need humanity.
More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.”
