how do you fill your day?

Postby blueskywhiteclouds6 » Thu Apr 14, 2016 1:40 pm

Within your walls?

Finding it very hard lately, I have my usual routines, but lately can barely muster the energy to bother moving off the sofa

On days when I don't feel too depressed or hopeless I will exercise, study (online courses), and clean.

I am usually depressed, but I still try to do some exercise almost everyday. I usually watch Netflix, read webtoons, novels, watch YouTube, play with cats. Not much else.

It's awful, and I want to go outside....but I also don't want to/can't.

Doing research on topics that interest me.
I'm in college but don't have SUCH a busy schedule, I have a lot of time off. but I have a lot of school work which isn't fun but it fills my day and makes me feel good about myself.
in the summer and breaks, i design some clothes, I shop online to get stock to sell on my online business. I use social media. Listen to music, etc etc.
It's pretty empty and generally, i just want the day to be over, but sometimes time flies and i spend my whole day busy! which is rare b ut also a good feeling.

I read a lot: the newspapers online, books (hardcopy and kindle), online course material from the free courses you can do, blogs, social media and the articles. Watch TV and movies, listen to podcasts, listen to music, play playstation. Lately I've been trying to go through my stuff to throw out things I don't need.
In a way, I am not defined by my dissociation. In a way, I am.

Right now I am unemployed so I have loads of free time on my hands. I usually sleep until late just because it's really hard for me to get up early. My usual activities include preparing my meals, cleaning (I live with 2 flatmates), talking to boyfriend/friends/family, practicing English, reading, watching TV shows or videos, exercising. I do feel like my routine has been quite influenced by my anxiety lately. I miss being at university and filling up my day with tons of experiments. That would seem impossible to achieve now. Maybe I just used to worry less.

I write freelance, listen to podcasts, watch YouTube and trashy reality TV, read one forum I'm specifically into pretty heavy, movies, news, politics, cats, trying to do better taking care of my skin, hair and hygiene, I plan grocery lists and menus for the upcoming week. That can take a few hrs. Getting into exercise now and would like to get into yoga. I like learning pretty much everything from mundane pop culture, philosophy, science, religion, whatever.
