What a first class post.
Interesting informative and others will be able to relate to it.
I do not hunt about on places like youtube but if there are more videos like this it would be a good idea to put them ( links ) under one thread where others can add links.
First class.
If you can keep your head while all about you are losing theirs, perhaps you have misunderstood the situation.

Ddee, thanks for that link. I liked that video, very helpful and interesting. And I agree with Hoggle, the video links idea is a good one.

Thanks so much for posting this video. It so accurately describes what I go through. A video like this can help others understand agoraphobia.

Thanks for the video. My brother suffers from agoraphobia. I need to know what I can to help him through this debilitating disorder. This video is great.

Wow, thank you. Same thing happens to me, will go out only if I absolutely have to. I didn't know whether that was agoraphobia or not because it's supposed to be fear of open spaces, but I will be afraid to go to the supermarket! Someone pointed out they thought this sounds more like social anxiety than agoraphobia and I have to agree. I love being at the beach, for instance -- just hate getting there because I live in a city and have to take public transportation. In fact, I love to travel so it's not about being far from home. It's actually worst around my home. I don't "see" the hook either, but I feel it. The hook is a terrific analogy.
