Hello! My first great therapist over 30 years ago thought I had IED, which was at that time called Explosive Personality Disorder. But I was a few years later diagnosed with Cyclothymia, and finally Bipolar II. But my current psychiatrist says she thought from when she first met me several years ago...

Gay obsession...at times

I am a 65 year old guy. When I was young, early teens, me and some other boys experimented with each other sexually for a couple of year on and off. Touching, masturbating, blow jobs anal. Thing is, as far as being true friends, these two were really jerks a lot of the time out side of the sexual st...

My ex girlfriend with borderline keeps popping in and out

Hey guys, I could really use some help here as I don't really have anyone to talk to, and even if I did they wouldn't understand. 3 years ago I dated a girl who has BPD, I loved her more than anyone I've ever met, and those feelings never really died... I just learned to accept what can't be changed...

Intense Dissociative Experience

I had an intense dissociative experience a couple of weeks ago, and I would like to share my experience and see what people with diagnosed dissociative disorders would make of it. The state of the mental health industry

To be more specific, one person's take on the way mental health professionals reach for the pill-box. It's on YouTube, I'm not going to link directly to it, but if you search 'Laura Delano' and 'Tucker Carlson', you'll find an interview I listened to with great interest, while doing some tasks, the ...

DA from therapy?

Have you gotten DA from therapy? I remembered my whole therapy years after I forgot everything about it. It isn't good. I confided in someone who told me it happened a lot within the psychiatry. I guess I really want to talk to other people who've been through something similar. Have you forgotten a...

You're not alone, you're not a bad person

This is coming from someone who has FDIS. (Factitious disorder imposed on self) - I've actually posted in this forum several times on different accounts because I can never remember my password. I first found this forum when I was 15, I'm 27 now. The reason I came back here was because I just lost m...
