The most important benefit of yoga is physical and mental therapy. The aging process, which is largely an artificial condition, caused mainly by autointoxication or self-poisoning, can be slowed down by practicing yoga. By keeping the body clean, flexible and well lubricated, we can significantly reduce the catabolic process of cell deterioration. To get the maximum benefits of yoga one has to combine the practices of yogasanas, pranayama and meditation.

I think yoga helps to keep our mind active and helps to control our thoughts, So just our body gets older, but our mind will remain young for forever.

Hey addy14,

You seem to really enjoy yoga and promoting it here. That's no problem because i know of the benefits that it can bring. My brother is a yoga teacher, as is his wife. He used to give free yoga classes to people and despised other teachers who charged (he claimed it went against the whole philosophy of yoga in the first place).
