Pick your tics?

Postby McGimp » Wed Apr 04, 2018 5:23 pm

I am asking for people’s opinions and experiences in this one, but first the back story and question:
I used to have mostly muscular tics; things like flexing individual core muscles, doing calf raises, flexing my pectorals, etc. As you can imagine, this was really good for my health. The core flexing gave me a flat stomach and the low ab “V”, and my calf muscles were extremely pronounced. I had other tics that were painful like grinding my teeth and hyperextending my knee until it felt like it was going to break, but most of my long term tics were somewhat beneficial to my health. These days, my beneficial tics have all gone and I am left with the painful ones.
So my question is this: Has anyone had any success with training their TS (through repetitive motions or other methods) to pick and choose your tics? Are there any studies that show that we can add tics that we want?

Answer the poll below, and please share your experience if you answered yes. Thanks!
